It’s Monday morning, and we know how you feel. We’re going to try to make it better for you with the very first edition of our Monday Morning Mashup, an aggregate of some of the best articles you may have missed last week.
Among other pieces in the inaugural post: musings about our industry, some tantalizing new ways to look at that monster known as Big Data, and a sly peek at a chronic problem facing the world of technology.
Influence & Co. recently brought on four full-time team members and a dozen interns. We’ll help you get to know each of them a little better over the next few weeks — to get started, here are three of our newest staff members!
When I sat down for an interview with Kelsey Meyer and Josh Johnson, I had several questions:
• What kind of internship could I hope to have at the company?
• What’s it like to work in content marketing?
• How quickly could I set up my corner office? (It turns out the company doesn’t have those.)
Perhaps most importantly:
• What is the company actually called?

This article was originally published in Forbes. As a SXSW “virgin,” I didn’t know what to expect from the largest entrepreneurs’ conference of the year. This year didn’t disappoint, with a variety of companies that will undoubtedly impress consumers in 2013.
